Abstract

|
|
Eye movements purpose clear vision by placing the image of an object on the fovea in each retina. These are functionally classified: saccades, smooth pursuit, vestibular, vergence, fixation, and optokinetic movements. All kind of them had the own or sharing pathways from cerebri or brainstem to extraocular muscles. So, it should be preceded to understand the anatomical and physiological basics of eye movements for localization and diagnosis of the related disorder.
